In a step towards enhanced digitization and User facilitation IT rolled out SSO(Single Sign On) and Finance Dashboard today. Both the applications were launched by Director (Fin), Sh. A.K. Gautam on 03.12.2021 through MS Teams.

The SSO application eliminates the need to remember multiple passwords for different Applications. Now all employees can access multiple applications with AD (Active Directory) password. The security to applications has been further strengthened as MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) has been implemented in addition to the password. CC-IT is launching 8 applications using this SSO platform at present. All the applications shall be included in the SSO platform. The SSO has bee developed in-house using the M365 platform.

The Finance Dashboard launched by Director (Fin) today covers Accounts, Commercial, Budget, Treasury, ISD & Bonds section of Finance. The Dashboard has been developed using Power BI Application and shows the processed data from SAP portal in graphical form. The Dashboards are of immense importance to Top Management which aids in decision making. Director (Fin) addressed the gathering of IT and Finance Team and complemented the IT Team for launching of SSO and Finance Dashboard. Director (Fin) expected IT Team to come out with more such initiatives in future.
